Autograph Letter Signed by Read Anderson, 62nd Illinois Infantry, 4pp. octavo, Camp Obion, October 24, 1862, with cover addressed to his sister, and reads in part: "...Old Aunt Dark and Marion Hagerts wife & a niece of old aunt Darks are in that Co. as Laundresses & cooks for the co. what do you think of that....I hope that the niggers will all be in Liberia in less than one year & the stars & stripes shall all float over every rebel state in the Union..."
