A complete and authentic issue of the San Francisco Chronicle, November 28, 1934, 144pp., disbound, some tanningat centerfold, else VG. Front page, two column headline, “Baby Face Kills US Agents, Shoots Way Out Of Trap” reports the Chicago shootout, continues to page 5. An associated piece, “He’s A Clever Kid” shows a photo of Baby Face. Although at press time, Nelson had escaped, he actually died later that evening from the nine wounds he suffered in the shoot out.
