Printed on card stock, 11” x 14”, with title “Memorial Picture” displays a large image of Huey Long and several of his notable quotes. The piece was published by the Share Our Wealth organization. VG. "The Kingfish", was an American politician and lawyer who served as the 40th governor of Louisiana from 1928 to 1932 and as a member of the United States Senate from 1932 until his assassination in 1935. In a national radio address on February 23, 1934, Huey Long unveiled his “Share Our Wealth” plan (also known as Huey Long's "Share the Wealth" plan), a program designed to provide a decent standard of living to all Americans by spreading the nation’s wealth among the people.
