Wheeling, Virginia letter, 1p. 4to., written by John Goshon, Wheeling, [Va.], Dec. 20, 1847, to his brother, in part: "This will be handed you by the bearer, Jacob A. Kline, who is about remaining at your city for the purpose of opening a public on a large scale. He has been [?] the Virginia hotel her for several years…with much satisfaction to the public & pleasure to himself. He will compelled to furnish his house entirely with new furniture. I…thought you might be of sum advantage to him and any favors shown him will be gladly received by him and duly returned…Jno. Goshom." Expected spotting,and wear, else VG.
