This group of 1932 Sanella Margarine Sports Cards have each been rated and slabbed by PSA. The cards are color printed, German language, 2-3/4" x 4". Included are: #25 Near Mint, "Wolfgang "Bubi" Ehrl" who won the silver medal in featherweight Greco-Roman at Los Angeles in 1932. He was unbeaten, even winning against the eventual Olympic champion Giovanni Gozzi, but due to the greater number of wins on points he had two more bad points than Gozzi and therefore ranked second. #17, Good, "Jacob Brendel" was 1932 Olympic champion in bantamweight Greco-Roman, also winning a bronze medal in 1936. Angry about his defeat in the final, his opponent Marcello Nizzola went after Brendel in the locker room with a knife, and police had to intervene.#25 Good, "Wolrad Eberle" was a German decathlete. He won the bronze medal at the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles#97, Excellent Mint, "Ede Sperling won a silver medal in 1928 at Amsterdam as a lightweight Greco-Roman, adding a bronze medal in 1932 at Los Angeles.#42 Excellent, "Heinrich Georg Hax" is imaged under title Pistol Shooting. Hax was a German modern pentathlete and sport shooter who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
