Group of three American slavery documents, includes : Autograph Document Signed 1pp. octavo, commanding several to appear in court to be jurors in a case against “Allen a slave of acharge of the crime of Arson”, March 27, 1828. Fine condition...plus; Confederate Document Signed, “H. Turner” 1pp. oblong octavo, Camp near New Market, January 31, 1863, addressed to Captain Miller, and “Under Mssrs. Seddon’s decision I have paid Edward Henry (a free men of color) as teamster ...He drove the team at Col. Wm. E. Jones Hd Quarters...” Fine condition....plus; Tax document for Anders Hunter, listing five slaves amongst other property. Very good condition.
