Autograph Letter Signed “John Choate” 2pp. octavo, Boston, February 6, 1745, and reads in part: “...we hear that some of the Gibraltar troops are arrived at New York...If our soldiers at Louisburg can get relief by then it will be well. The court I hear will do nothing for them in session...we hear that General Wade has defeated and cut to pieces a considerable part of the rebel army, May God defeat their hellish designs...” Fine condition.
