Moore" as Surgeon General, 1p. quarto, May 17, 1862, Surgeon General's Office, Richmond, Virginia, addressed to Dr. Taliaferro at Richmond, and reads "Having failed to receive the invitation tendered to the Sec. of War, you are hereby authorized to appear before the Med'l Board sitting in this City to be examined for the post of Asst. Surgeon in the Prov. Army of the C.S..." Repairs, else about VG.
