Carte de visite of Corporal Albert Hilton, Co. A, 76th New York Volunteers, who was taken prisoner in the first day of fighting at Gettysburg, July 1, 1863, and escaped from his Confederate captors July 5, 1863. He was later killed at Wilderness May 5, 1864. Nice image of Cpl. Hilton in uniform. Fine condition.
