Mounted oval photo, 5-1/2” x 7-1/2” to larger mount, 3/4 view of fully uniformed Federal soldier with lightly tinted shoulder boards and sash.. The studio ID is labeled on the reverse, Giers & Co., National Portrait Gallery, Nashville, Tenn. Slightly soiled on the mount, but image is clean and clear.
