A complete and authentic issue of The New York Herald, June 25, 1860, 8pp., disbound, VG. The entire front page is taken with the various presidential candidates and party conventions. Of course the Lincoln candiacy is covered with 2/3 columns “Sketches of the Candidates, Abraham Lincoln of Illinois,” and the convention “Black Republican Convention.” The other candidates, Douglas, Bell, Breckinridge and Houston are also covered.
