Unused Letter Sheet, "Republican State Central Committee Rooms, Chicago, Ill., 1858. On the left is printed "Members of the Committee" which includes W.H. Herndon (Lincoln Law Partner), Richard Yates (War period Illinois Governor), Geo. T. Brown (US Senate's first Republican Sergeant at Arms), and Thomas J. Turner (served as delegate to the peace convention held in Washington, D.C. in 1861.There are pencil notations on the reverse.
