April 17, 1875, Another two panal Nast cartoon shows President Grant reading a Senate Bill. Then, a Black man holding the Civil Rights Bill, “Wainting for a Five-hundred dDllar Kick” the fine for violating the The Civil Rights Act of 1875. .. April 21, 1877, Another Nast cartoon shows a Black man being declained for a job. ..May 12, 1877, Another Nast cartoon shows Uncle Sam ignoring the problem with the Balck man and the KK man.
