Union soldier letter, 2pp., January 16, 1862, written and signed by George Richter, who enlisted 12/2/1861 into PA 58th and was discharged for disability 6/1/1863, to his Wife and Family. The letter is very homey, but it is on a 4-page patriotic letter sheet. The full page color printed letter sheet is on the “Death Of Col. Elmer E. Ellsworth” with a six stanza song. Impressive.
