Three color printing, 6pp., with strong artwork of Crossed sabers and two crossed flags – “The Gallant 5th U.S. Cavalry”, 1864, Philadelphia. The owner has written in period ink above Cavalry “Battery L Artillery”. The owners name is also written in period ink in the upper right hand corner and has written the date October 4th, 1864. The sheet music is dedicated to Captain J. W. Mason of the 5th U.S. Cavalry. He served in the U.S. Cavalry until his death in 1882. There is some staining but the color is vibrant and would be great for display!
