A good pair of war-date 2nd Minnesota Volunteer documents, both manuscript. The first document, 1p. folio, issued by Capt. John Moultion, Co. D, 2nd Minnesota Vols., Triune, Tenn., March 30, 1863 for turning in worn out equipment including knapsacks, haversacks and canteens. Signed and made official by Major John B. Davis [WIA Chickamauga, Ga., 9/19/63]. The second document is, 1p. 4to., issued by Quartermaster Minor C. Humston 4th Kentucky, [n. p., but Chattanooga, Tenn.], Jan. 15, 1864, turning over to Capt. John Moulton one snare drum with drum sticks "complete." Both documents near fine
