Sepia mounted silver print, 5” x 9-1/2”, slight clipp to lower right, light, yet fascination image, of actor, Frank D. Bryan, dressed as and playing President Teddy Roosevelt. Photographed by State & Son in Brooklyn. Great piece of NYC theatre. In an article in the Pittsburgh Press (Oct. 14, 1906) it references Bryan as visiting to perform in the Gayety with his "Congress of American Girls… which has stirred up a feeling of patriotism." The article further details that Teddy was Bryan's persoonal friend! Silverprint is mounted.
