A good war-date Confederate States of America court document, 3pp. folio, Upson county, Georgia, Oct. 12, 1864, directed to Supreme Court Justice John J. Floyd concerning the liquidation of Theodore G. Sledge's estate which, at the time consisted of six slaves, each named, and fifteen hundred and thirty six dollars of Confederate currency. In this document the administrator of Sledge's estate seeks help from the Georgia Supreme Court after numerous family members came forward looking to get a piece of the estate.
