War-date Confederate Autograph Document Signed as a true copy by Lt. J.M. Sims, 1p. folio, Mobile, Alabama, February 11, 1865, being an “Invoice of Ordnance and Ordnance Stores this day turned over by Lieut. J.M. Sims” 1st Ala Reserves Co. E to Capt. W.L. Ritter Commanding Battery ‘D’, and lists dozens of items used by the battery including “3 32 pdr Long Navy Guns” a short Navy gun, a long Army gun, and 2 twelve pound seige guns, and more. Fine. William L. Ritter served with Stephen’s Light Artillery from Georgia.
