Sheet music, "In Memory of George S. Meade. General Meade's Funeral March" with two-color image, by E. Mack, Philadelphia, 1872, 6pp., VG. Meade died in Philadelphia, while still on active duty, from complications of his old wounds, combined with pneumonia, on November 6, 1872. He was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
