A total of 16 illustrated postal covers from the Spainish-American War. Colorful flags, banners and borders depict President McKinley, Col. Theodore Roosevelt, Admirals George Dewey and William T. Sampson, General Shafter, Capt. R.D. Evans, Fitzhugh Lee, Commodores Watson and Schley and other patriotic views, including “The Late U.S.S. Maine.” One cover has been addressed in pencil to “Miss Minnie Smith,” otherwise all unused. Minor toning, overall great shape. Shrink rapped on poster board.
