A great war-date albumen of Robert A. Hubble and his brothers along with three (3) war-date letters by Hubbel with war related content. The albumen, measures 5 1/4" x 7 1/2" on larger board mount with chipped edges shows Robert A. Hubbel flanked by his brothers William and John Henry. Each appears in civilian dress and is identified on the verso. The letters date from 1863 and 1864. The 1863 was written weeks before his discharge from service and concerns his looking forward to coming home while one of his 1864 letters concerns having to coming back to Hudson, New York in order to see to the removal of his name from that city's draft rolls. One original postal transmittal cover and an 1895 sales invoice for Anne Hubbel are included. Usual condition issues, else overall VG. (One albumen and three letters.)
