Full printing of the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION is in one of two issues of Horace Greeley’s “New York Tribune,” Jan. 1 & 3, 1863. Jan. 1 issue carries an announcement of the proclamation with the Jan. 3 issue containing the full text, printed in larger than regular type and signed-in-type by Abraham Lincoln. The issues are removed from bound volume, so some pages are loose. Minor small tears, otherwise great condition and quite historic.
