The archive is surrounding soldier Fred Joyce who served in the 93rd QM Training Corp, stationed in occupied Japan. There are two documents, “Letter of Merit,” and his “Honorable Discharge. But, what is fascinating in this archive is the plethora of candid photographs. It includes, Three 8-1/2” x 11,” Aerial photographs of Camp Hakata, Kyushu, Japan, one of which is keyed; One 8-1/2” x 11,” photo of the Third Platoon with all members identified; Sixty snapshot photographs, many with identification on the reverse; Six commercial photographs with identification.
