Autograph Letter Signed “S.P. Crowe” 2pp. quarto, July 22, 1860, Palmyra, and reads in part: “...we have a fine crop on Palmyra...a fine negro man at the lower place last week by the kick of a mule. The mule kicked him on his abdomen. I sent for a doctor...9 work hands on the lower place with bloody flush, which is serious as we will need them to haul our cotton...will make the largest crop of cotton on Palmyra that has ever been made...” Fine condition.
