War-date Confederate Autograph Letter Signed by Lt. Col. George W. Lay, as Adjt for General Bonham, 1pp. quarto, Head Quarters, Advanced Forces, Army of the Potomac [Confederate] Fairfax, Court House, July 2, 1861, addressed to Colonel Bacon, it reads in part: “...Col Cash will at once detail a picket a company of not lesss than fifty with orders to relive the picket on post from Col. Bacon’s Regiment...” Fine condition.
