Pitts, 3rd South Carolina Battalion, Kershaw’s Brigade, 1pp. octavo, Point Lookout, Maryland, October 27, 1864, and reads in part: “...I have fallen in the hands of the Federals and I need tobacco...send it per flag of truce...” Fine condition.
