War-date “Certificate of Release of Prisoner of War” for L.W. Watts, 1pp. oblong octavo, May 13, 1865, Head Quarters Point Lookout, Maryland, signed by Major Allen C. Brady, 20th Infantry, who as a member of the 17th Connecticut was WIA at Gettysburg. “Oath and Parole” signed by Watts on verso. Reinforced folds. Very good condition.
