War-date Confederate congressional imprint, “MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT” 1pp. quarto, January 10, 1865, and reads in part: “...Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Florida, in General Assembly convened, That the confidence of the people of the State of Florida, in the ability, purity and partiotism of his Excellency, Jefferson Davis...continues unabated, and that the able, fearless and impartial manner in which he has administered the Government of the Confederate States, demands, and will continue to receive, our approbation and support...” Fine condition.
