Nice group of six (6) post-war Confederate soldier records from “LEONIDAS POLK BIVOUAC NO. 3 and WILLIAM HENRY TROUSDALE CAMP, No 495” all folio, 1906, and records the soldiers information for enlistment as well as accounts of battle, includes: A.J. Lee, 11th Tennessee, “I was with Forrest when we run Burnsides into Knoxville. In town Lieut Chapman was killed a fight at Donelson.” ...; plus, George Kinger, 2nd Battalion Tenn Cav “Forrest Raid in Tenn, also Wheelers skirmishes, over one hundred...advance guard for Maj. Gen. Little at the Battle of Iuka, Miss. when he was killed....” Others mention prisoner of war experiences and one being wounded in the leg “never to walk well again.” Fold separations, else very good condition.
