Yates, as commander of the 1st Mich., Atlanta, Ga., Nov. 3, 1864 giving Currier and another man a furlough in order to go to Louisville to settle his clothing accounts…PLUS; letter, 4pp. 8vo., Plainfield, Mich., Aug. 4, 1863 from friends back home…PLUS; partly-printed, 1p. 4to., Pension Office, Nov. 23, 1863 allowing Currier extra pension pay starting in Dec. 1862…PLUS; partly-printed, 1p. 4to., pension affidavit form, Feb. 4, 1867 being a true copy of Curriers 1865 discharge…PLUS; nineteen (19) partly-printed, 1p. 4to., ca. 1860's to turn of the century, State of Michigan's pension claim forms, and letters each with lengthy description of Currier's disabilities caused by his service given by Currier himself, surgeons who attended him with the remaining by his comrades…PLUS; forty-two (42) Department of the Interior Penison office documents, mostly 1p. 4to., ca. 1880's to turn of the century concerning Currier's ongoing pension claims and postcards…PLUS; small uncounted batch of estate documents and deeds.
