C, 6th New Jersey Vols., "Camp near Falmouth, Va., Jan. 20, 1863," in part: "…I don know where we shall be tomorrow…we shall be on the opposite bank of the river again. There is an address being read to the troops from Genl. Burnside saying the Rebel is divided and now is the time for both officers & men to strike a mighty blow for the country & for peace. I pray that it may be successful…we shall march right on toward Richmond…J. Willian." Minor toning, else VG
