A great war-date multi colored printed 8vo., song sheet, boldly entitled: "ON, ON, ON The Boys came Marching! of The Prisoners Free." Published by Charles Magnus, Philadelphia, reading, in part: "O! the day it came at last. When the glorious tramp was heard…On, on , on the boys came marching…they dashed away the guard and we stood beneath the starry banner, free!…". General Kilpatrick's portrait is surrounded by a green wreath, red banner and gold starry frame while red, white and blue flags flank the letterset. Fine.
