Book, “Reports on the Extent and Nature of the Materials Available for the Preparation of a Medical and Surgical History of the Rebellion,” Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott & Co., 1865, lacks covers, 160pp. 9-1/2”x12-3/4”. Complete with excellent lithographs of various surgically repaired battle wound of veterans. Particularly interesting is "Perforating Gunshot Wound of the Abdomen"; "Lincoln General Hospital Washington, D.C.", and an illustration of an ambulance. Very good condition.
