Cabinet card photograph on “Brady, Washington DC” Mount. Taken by Anthony Berger at Brady's Washington Gallery, February 9, 1864. There were four portraits were taken at this sitting, all of which have proven to be perennial classics. The cabinet measures 4-1/4" x 6-1/2". Some spotting and smudging in the background, yet the President is sharp and clear.
