Each are 5-1/2” x 3-1/2”, uncolored carrying a political cartoon the front. Included is; “Back up, you’ve batted twice” says Uncle Sam as the referee scolding Theodore Roosevelt with William Taft in the batter’s box. The postcard was mailed and has a manuscript insription on the reverse, “Vote for women and the best man.” .....plus, Candidate Wilson encourages Theodore Roosevelt, “Soak him, Ted! every time you hit him I get a vote.” Roosevelt is throwing baseballs at the Michigan GOP elephant. Unused. Democratic Governor Woodrow Wilson of New Jersey Unseated incumbent Republican President William Howard Taft and defeated Former President Theodore Roosevelt, who ran as the Progressive Party ("Bull Moose") nominee. Roosevelt remains the only third party presidential candidate in U.S. history to finish better than third in the popular or electoral vote.
