Mason Hove, Capt & AAG, and reads in part: “...I am directed by the Colonel commanding to communicate to you that he has received information from sources which seem to be good that the enemy are preparing to land a large force some fifteen thousand men, on this side of the Tennessee River. The point designated as that of their disembarkation is Pittsburg...” More. Fine condition.
