Browder” 1pp. quarto, Novebmer 11, 1862,Williamsburgh District, South Carolina, testifying that “Susan Amanda Browder the sister James E. Kaller who being duly sworn made oath that her brother James E. Kaller, who is now servingas a substitute in the place of William M. Kinder , was born on the 16th day of October 1862....” Fine condition....plus; Autograph Document Signed, “F.J. Moses, Jr.” 1pp. quarto, Enrolling Office, Williamsburg District, Kingstree, South Carolina September 16, 1863, and reads “This is to certify that William M. Kinder has been regularly and properly enrolled, and is herby exempted from conscription by reason of his having furnished a substitute...” Fine condition. (2 items)
