War-date Confederate copy Document Signed "James Longbrough AAG" 1pp. oblong octavo, May 16, 1862, Hd Qrs Army of the West, addressed to General Parsens, being General Orders No. 29, and reads in part: "...In accordance with the proclamation of the President of the Confederate States, announcing this day as a day of fasting and prayer, Divine service will be held by the Chaplains of the Army at Eleven A.M…." Fine condition.
