War-Date Confederate Autograph Letter Signed "W.G. Richardson" Asst. Paymaster, C.S.N., 1pp. quarto, August 4, 1864, on board "U.S. Str. Tennessee" of New Orleans, and reads "I doubt not it will afford you much pleasure to know that during the period that we have been upon your vessel we have all been most delightfully entertained by your associates. Every thing has been due to minister to our comfort and to alleviate our captivity…" Fine condition.
