War-date Document Signed by William M. Este (1831-1900) 26th Ohio Infantry, Major US Vols, 1pp. oblong octavo, Baltimore, Maryland, July 25, 1863, and reads “Mr. S.F. Streeter of the City of Baltimore being known and approved as a thoroughly and truly loyal person, who desires to devote his time and services as he may be able to the care of the sick and wounded soldiers in the Military Hospitals, is hereby permitted to visit such Hospitals within this Department, subject to the rules as to hours and other restrictions established by the proper Medical Authority...” Mounted, else very good condition.
