Comd, 115th New York Vols, 1pp. quarto, Beaufort, South Carolina, October 28, 1863, addressed to Chaplain Harris and requestes him to see Private Carert, who is “very low and has requested...to ask our chaplain to call and see him...” Fine condition. Nicolas Carert would die the next day in Beaufort after being taken POW the month before at Harper’s Ferry...plus; two other medical documents. (3 items)
