Ross” Captain 16th Regiment Ohio Vols, 1pp. quarto, Morganza, Lousiana, October 2, 1864, addressed to Captain Hall, and reads “ I tak great pleasure in recommending George Lile (a colored man) wh ohad been in my employ for more than one year, found him to be honest always on hand and a good cook...” Fine condition.
