Group of three (3) war-date letters and one (1) pre-war letter from Union congressman, includes letters by John Z. Goodrich (1804-1885) who closes with “With the best wishes for the Success of Gen. Taylor’s Administration.”; Charles Buckalew (1821-1899) pertaining to Income Tax; Alfred Ely (1815-1892) Ely was captured by Confederate forces while spectating the First Battle of Bull Run; and John F. Potter (1817-1899) pertaining to the death of a general. All very good condition.
