Bible owned by John Enright, Co. B, 12th Maine Infantry. Enlisted 11/20/61, discharged for disability on 9/9/63. The bible, inscribed on the front and back pages reads "John Enright 12th Maine Regiment Co. B New Orleans August 14th, 1863". The ink inscriptions are bold and dark. The spine has wear, front cover loose but still attached.
