MIX, Thomas Edwin Mix (born Thomas Hezikiah, (1880- 1940) was an American film actor and the star of many early Western movies between 1909 and 1935. Mix appeared in 291 films, all but nine of which were silent movies. He was Hollywood's first Western star and helped define the genre as it emerged in the early days of the cinema Framed Signed Photograph, 5” x 7” in larger frame. Mix presents the photo, “To Ted Lewis, Best Wishes, Tom. Mix.” "Diamond" Ted Lewis was an early 20th century vaudeville performer, whose acts varied from tap dancing to trick shooting. He became known as the man with the ten thousand dollar smile, on account of the fact that he had diamonds implanted in each of his front teeth.
