Imprint, 6” x 8-1.2”, 32pp., “The Conduct of the War. Report of the Congressional Committee on the operation of the Army of the Potomac. Causes of Its Inaction and Ill Success. Why McClellan was Removed ...” New York. published by Tribune Association, 1863. The Army of the Potomac was the principal Union Army in the Eastern Theater of the American Civil War. It was created in July 1861 shortly after the First Battle of Bull Run and was disbanded in June 1865 following the surrender of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia in April. 29 or so pages, last few pages the numbers were cut off from the top of the page. The imprint has foxing and staining. Vertical crease. But overall nice piece.
