War-date Manuscript Document Signed by the company officers of the 105th Pennsylvania Infantry, 1pp. folio, Head Quarters 105th Pennsylvania Vols, March 1, 1865, being a circular which reads in part: “...In accordance with the provisions of the accompanying circular from Head Quarters 2d Brigade 3d Div. 2d A.C. dated Feb. 28th 1865. Drills will be resumed in this Regmt Company commanders will give their personal attention, to see that their men are instructed according to Casey’s Tactics. The Recruits in the several companies who have not been instructed in the manual of Arms and the facings will report daily when drill call is sounded to Sergeant W.J. Kennedy Co. ‘I’ who has been appointed to drill Recruits...” Signed on verso next to their Company letter by Lt. JAMES W. WACHOB; Lt.
