Cabinet Card Photograph, showing marching soldiers, bands, and the American flag with dozens of spectators. Patriotic. manuscript identification on the reverse, “Central St. American House Square”, Dedication of Soldiers Monument, Oct. 16, 1889.” Chips to corners. We were able to find a Soldier’s Dedication on the same date, Gettysburg, “Bemis Heights Battalion”, the monument to the 77th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment is south of Gettysburg on Powers Hill. It was dedicated by the State of New York on October 16, 1889.
