CDV of the State House in Columbus, Ohio during Lincoln's funeral on April 29, 1865, E.S. Walker's, Columbus, Ohio imprint, fine. Image shows the State House adorned in mourning bunting with mourners surrounding and entering the State House to view the remains of our 16th President. The albumen is excellent (toned areas at the top left and right corners are part of the development process, with all examples extant having this). The albumen has excellent detail and clarity. The mount has some light age, else fine. In period ink on the verso it reads "State House Columbus, Ohio". A rare Abraham Lincoln funeral view.
